Workgroup Meeting: “Digital Production”

On September 4th, we invite you to the next online meeting of the Digital Production workgroup. The focus of the meeting will be governance in Unified Namespace (UNS) – a key aspect in creating a unified and sustainable factory data architecture.

We will spotlight practical ways to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and data maintenance so that the joint architecture remains robust, scalable, and relevant over time. Governance in this context is not just about technology – it is just as much about organization, ownership, and collaboration across OT and IT.

The meeting is an open forum for dialogue and experience sharing among members, where we can jointly explore practical approaches, challenges, and solutions related to UNS governance.

Rasmus provides valuable insights into the use of AI agents and highlights the need for context and structure in a fragmented data landscape.

11:00 A MES/UNS proof-of-concept using claude AI for coding
Morten Hechmann Ekdahl & Rene Christensen, from MedTech-industry
Morten & Rene will share experiences from a MES/UNS proof-of-concept architecture, where the broker acts as an integration layer between ISA-95 modules (Definition, Dispatching, Execution, Data Collection, Tracking) via request/response. The solution was developed using Vibecoding, with Claude as a code assistant.
